Lord Jesus Christ,
You have taken the sting from death
and robbed the grave of its victory.
In holy baptism, You have given us
a share also in Your risen life.
We thank You for all the good things
we have received from Your bountiful love.
We bless You for the courage
to carry our daily burdens.
We praise You for the salvation
You have won for us.
When we shall have finished
the work our Father gave us to do here,
be to us a gentle Savior.
May we seek You eagerly,
find You surely, and share in
Your unfading triumph
for all ages of ages.
